Appointments

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. After missing your second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you are subject to being charged an additional fee.

Financial Policy

Payment for services is due at the time the dental treatment is provided. We accept cash, personal checks, debit and most major credit cards. We also offer additional financing through CareCredit.

Dental Insurance

If we have received all of your insurance information, we will be happy to file your dental claim as a courtesy to you. We do ask that you familiarize yourself with your insurance benefits and policy prior to visiting our office. We want you to be fully aware of any limitations that your policy may have as some insurance companies pay only a portion of your visit.

Please understand that we do not have a contract with your insurance company, only you do. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim. We are here to assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment, but we at no time guarantee what your insurance will or will not do with each claim. We also cannot be responsible for any errors in filing the claim as we are working with the information you provide to us on your first visit to our office. Therefore, it is crucial that you keep us updated of any insurance changes such as policy name or group number, insurance company address or change of employment so that your claims can be completed and paid in a timely manner.

Pre-Treatment Estimates

When estimating dental benefits, deductibles and percentages must be considered and should be looked upon as that, an estimate. We do submit all estimates to your insurance company prior to your treatment date, but insurance companies have up to 30 days to respond to pre-treatment estimates. If we do not hear back from your insurance company by your child’s treatment date, then we will collect our original estimated amount that we provided to you on the day you come in, With that being said, please keep in mind that you may end up with a balance or credit once insurance has paid on the actual claim. Your insurance company will also provide a copy of the estimate of benefits which will show you what they did or did not pay on that claim.

Dental Surgeries

If your child is going to have their treatment done under general anesthesia, all estimated treatment fees must be received in our office two (2) business days prior to your child’s surgery date. Failure to do this will result in the cancellation of the scheduled surgery.
