APPOINTMENTS
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We make every effort to schedule your appointment at an available time that is most convenient for you. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing your appointment. When that happens, we request a 24-hour notice, if possible, so that we may offer the time to another patient in need of our care.
Dr. Carreras believes that younger patients (preschool age) should be seen in the morning when they are more rested and he can dedicate additional time if needed to relieve any apprehension. The same applies for older patients with larger treatment plans.
We've learned through experience that children often feel more comfortable at the dentist's office when they are able to observe the behavior of their peers. That's why our clinic has an open treatment room for routine care rather than individual rooms. Please be assured that Dr. Dennis and our highly experienced staff will help your child overcome any anxiety and keep you fully informed about your child's dental health and development.
PAYMENT/INSURANCE
We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and most major credit cards. If we have received all of your current insurance information, we will file your dental claim as a courtesy to you. We do ask that you familiarize yourself with your insurance benefits and policy prior to your visit so that you are fully aware of any limitations. Some insurance companies pay only a portion of your visit.
Please understand that we do not have a contract with your insurance company; only you do. We are here to assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment, but we at no time guarantee what your insurance will or will not pay on each claim. We will collect from you the estimated amount your insurance is not expected to pay on the day of your visit.
It is crucial that you keep us updated of any changes with your insurance. After we receive payment from your insurance company, any remaining balance is due upon receipt of statement.
